Our rotating cast of world-class magicians has been featured on stage at The Magic Castle in Hollywood and on screen in Penn and Teller’s Fool Us\, Masters of Illusion\, and many more shows! \n\n\n\nJoin us and find out why we are Santa Monica’s Most Magical Experience! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout our Performer\n\n\n\nJon Armstrong\n\n\n\nhttps://www.cardjon.com \n\n\n\nGrowing up in Orlando\, Florida\, Jon became fascinated by the magic he saw in the theme parks around him and dreamed of having his own show. This dream came true when Disney asked him to bring his act to Epcot and he became the resident magician at Walt Disney World. He was only 20. After spending 5 years doing his show at Disney World\, Vegas called and Jon answered\, becoming a recurring headliner at Caesar’s Magical Empire. It was between these runs in Vegas that Jon started doing tours all over the world as both a performer and lecturer\, teaching others how to add humor and entertainment to their magic.  \n\n\n\nJon has also worked on many films and television shows such as “The Mentalist” Shut Eye\, America’s Got Talent\, “Spiderman 3” and “AntMan” as a magic consultant and designer\, and is co-creator of the IDW comic series Smoke and Mirrors.   \n\n\n\nJon stars in the new Netflix documentary Magicians: Life in the Impossible\, about his life in magic \n\n\n\nJon now lives in Los Angeles and is a frequent performer at the world famous Magic Castle. His TV appearances as a talk show guest\, featured performer or actor\, include shows like NBC’s “The Today Show”\, “Tonight Show” and Little Big Shots\, “Magic Castle After Dark” on A&E\, CW’s “Penn and Teller Fool Us”\, Fox’s “Masters of Illusion” and ABC’s “Bachelorette.” He has been featured in cover stories of trade publications like Magic\, Genii and other magic journals worldwide. You’ve seen them on Netflix\, Hulu\, Comedy Central\, all manner of Late Night performances\, and even some of your favorite television shows! \n\n\n\nCome at 8:30 to enjoy the super-cozy lounge area\, grab some drinks and a snack\, and relax before the show which starts promptly at 9pm in the Courtroom theater.  \n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nAT A GLANCE: \n\n\n\n\nHigh Note takes place on select Wednesdays each month.\n\n\n\nTickets are $10 in advance\, $15 at the door. \n\n\n\nThe show runs for about 90 minutes\, ending around 10:30.\n\n\n\nIllusion Magic Lounge has delicious snacks and appetizers available for purchase.\n\n\n\nThe bar remains staffed during the show\, feel free to get a refill! There is no drink minimum at High Note. \n\n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nGETTING THERE: \n\n\n\n\nThe fastest way to get to Illusion Magic Lounge is to simply take the 10 towards Santa Monica\, take the 5th St/4th St. exit\, turn right on to 4th\, and park in Structure 5. \n\n\n\nParking Structure 5 is right next door to the venue and is free for the first hour and a half. As that’s roughly the length of our show\, you’ll likely be at the 2 hour mark which is only $2. If you get to Santa Monica early or stay later\, parking rates are very reasonable at $5 for 3hrs and $9 for 4hrs.\n\n\n\nThe Metro E-Line stretches from East LA\, through DTLA\, and all the way to Santa Monica where it stops 2 blocks away from our show. There is no drink minimum at High Note. \n\n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nGETTING THERE: \n\n\n\n\nThe fastest way to get to Illusion Magic Lounge is to simply take the 10 towards Santa Monica\, take the 5th St/4th St. exit\, turn right on to 4th\, and park in Structure 5. \n\n\n\nParking Structure 5 is right next door to the venue and is free for the first hour and a half. As that’s roughly the length of our show\, you’ll likely be at the 2 hour mark which is only $2. If you get to Santa Monica early or stay later\, parking rates are very reasonable at $5 for 3hrs and $9 for 4hrs.\n\n\n\nThe Metro E-Line stretches from East LA\, through DTLA\, and all the way to Santa Monica where it stops 2 blocks away from our show. There is no drink minimum at High Note. \n\n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nGETTING THERE: \n\n\n\n\nThe fastest way to get to Illusion Magic Lounge is to simply take the 10 towards Santa Monica\, take the 5th St/4th St. exit\, turn right on to 4th\, and park in Structure 5. \n\n\n\nParking Structure 5 is right next door to the venue and is free for the first hour and a half. As that’s roughly the length of our show\, you’ll likely be at the 2 hour mark which is only $2. If you get to Santa Monica early or stay later\, parking rates are very reasonable at $5 for 3hrs and $9 for 4hrs.\n\n\n\nThe Metro E-Line stretches from East LA\, through DTLA\, and all the way to Santa Monica where it stops 2 blocks away from our show.
