It’s located at 1418 4th Street\, Santa Monica. Santa Monica Public Parking structures #3 & #5 are both within half a block and cost around $5. Volunteer safety escorts are available to walk people to and from their cars. \n\n\n\nCan’t make it in person? We’ll miss you\, but don’t worry! We have a livestream. You can support the cause and get your own special view of the stage from anywhere in the world. Please do not attend if you are ill. \n\n\n\nA note from Pansy:\n\n\n\nMalak is a dear friend of mine I was introduced to last year by a mutual friend. \n\n\n\nShe’s a 20 year old nursing student living in Gaza with her family of 9. She’s been completing her coursework surrounded by violence\, trying to build a life where she can help people and reach safety/security\, all while being unable to afford food and necessities. And while neither of these things are a prerequisite to be deserving of support and care\, she’s SUCH a dedicated hard worker and an incredibly kind person. \n\n\n\nEven with everything she’s going through\, she’s always taken the time to check in on me & ask how my friends are when we’ve had our share of newsworthy events in LA. I can’t wait to show her how much our community cares in return. \n\n\n\nOn top of it all\, despite being verified by the butterfly effect project and her fundraiser being a protected gofundme\, bad actors reported her Instagram and her internet connection is inconsistent so she is struggling to get donations. \n\n\n\nThat’s what gave me the idea for this show. You’ve seen them on Netflix\, Hulu\, Comedy Central\, all manner of Late Night performances\, and even some of your favorite television shows! \n\n\n\nCome at 8:30 to enjoy the super-cozy lounge area\, grab some drinks and a snack\, and relax before the show which starts promptly at 9pm in the Courtroom theater.  \n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nAT A GLANCE: \n\n\n\n\nHigh Note takes place on the First and Third Thursdays of every month.\n\n\n\nTickets are $10 in advance\, $15 at the door. \n\n\n\nThe show runs for about 90 minutes\, ending around 10:30.\n\n\n\nIllusion Magic Lounge has delicious snacks and appetizers available for purchase.\n\n\n\nThe bar remains staffed during the show\, feel free to get a refill! There is no drink minimum at High Note. \n\n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nGETTING THERE: \n\n\n\n\nThe fastest way to get to Illusion Magic Lounge is to simply take the 10 towards Santa Monica\, take the 5th St/4th St. exit\, turn right on to 4th\, and park in Structure 5. \n\n\n\nParking Structure 5 is right next door to the venue and is free for the first hour and a half. As that’s roughly the length of our show\, you’ll likely be at the 2 hour mark which is only $2. If you get to Santa Monica early or stay later\, parking rates are very reasonable at $5 for 3hrs and $9 for 4hrs.\n\n\n\nThe Metro E-Line stretches from East LA\, through DTLA\, and all the way to Santa Monica where it stops 2 blocks away from our show.
