This exciting film will inspire audiences of all ages with its message of conservation and hope for our planet, and the producers of the film want to support orangutan conservation through education so they are generously donating the one-time use of this new film to our charity, the Orang Utan Republik Foundation.

- Meet Dr. Gary Shapiro: Hear from our Foundation’s president as he provides updates on orangutan conservation projects. Dr. Shapiro will also be signing copies of his latest book, “Out of the Cage.”

Film synopsis: “Ozi: Voice of the Forest” tells the inspiring story of Ozi, a young orphaned orangutan who uses her unique skills as an influencer to rally support and save her home from the devastating effects of deforestation. Backed by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions and produced by multi-Academy-Award winner Mike Medavoy, this compelling animated feature sheds light on the urgent threats facing our planet’s rainforests and the fragile ecosystems they support. Through Ozi’s courageous journey, the film raises awareness about the global environmental crisis and the need for immediate action.
